Singapore ant (Trichomyrmex destructor)

Green-head ant (Rhytidoponera metallica)

Medium-sized (5–6 mm), metallic dark green or purple, mainly found in gardens, lawns, and bushland edges. Single-nest species rather than colony-formers, but the sting is the issue — sharp, painful, and capable of triggering severe allergic reactions in sensitive people.
